Music does not make people aggressive. If anything, it is a healthy, legal, harmless outlet for aggression (thus, the mosh pit). And if any music WOULD make someone aggressive, it wouldn't be Dropkick Murphys. Seriously. *eyeroll*

well it gets you in the mood if you're already feeling angry but if you're not then no.

I know a republican that's happily married, two kids, lives in the burbs and has a 'techy' job. He listens to Devil Driver, Pantera, Lamb of God and Slayer. Charles Manson played the acoustic guitar. Our war mongering ex-president listens to country. The Doobie Brothers and Dave Mathews are pot smokin fiends. If the music you listen to makes you act a certain way, then every job application, credit card application, and marriage proposal would come with a "music/genre" question.

It's amazing that my grandparents were saying EXACTLY the same thing to my parents about that punk "Elvis...Somebody." This complaint will never go away. Hell, they probably said the same thing about Beethoven.

I know that music has an effect on MY moods. I don't know about yours. But I don't think that should be an excuse to censor or limit people's choice of music. I sometimes listen to Enya, and sometimes Rammstein, and sometimes Loreena McKennitt, and sometimes Children of Bodom, and sometimes Faye Wong, and sometimes Pink Floyd.......
