"Basically." If I hear one more person use that word (and they ALL use it incorrectly), I may have a nervous breakdown. I.T. people, news anchors and sports/radio announcers overuse it the most.

awesome. overused and missused. the end of the universe is awesome-maybe seeing the southern lights from the south pole-but not a cookie. and although it's an expression, not a word, "to die for". freedom and family are to die for-not cake.

"issue".. Every freakin' body has an "issue" with this, or an "issue" with that. Your being angry about your neighbor's dog peeing on your bushes is not an "issue" with your neighbors dog, it's a "problem"... Easily solved by asking the neighbor just what the hell his dog's malfunction is, and remind him that antifreeze is antidotal.

"Trust Me" Never trust a person that says.....trust me.

The two that really bother me when I hear them a lot are: F*** and Like Pretty much any profanity scattered throughout a sentence like it was some kind of fertilizer meant to enhance the sentence... but the F-word in particular annoys me.
