There are going to be many disagreeing with me but Adam deserved it all. He was the star of the competition. Kris got the little girl votes. Good luck to him is all i can say. Because if they wanted to do it for the shock...it worked. Score one for Idol. Adam will go bigger.

I can't believe it. Biggest upset since Daughtry lost to McPhee (what a loser she turned out to be) and that white haired guy (no current recording contract).

That surprises me (I'm just finding out now). I only watched about a half of one show but I found the differences staggering. Kris seemed like someone who should be singing in bars. I wasn't impressed at all (altough I'm sure he can sing a lot better than I can). I thought Adam was far better but in truth, neither seemed to be at a level I would have expected them to be at to be winning a national singing competition.

I think it was a combination of things: First of all, he was multi-talented; people resented the fact that Adam was being super-hyped and shoved down their throats; and, people vote for the underdog.
