My first thoughts are that it's not possible.

It actually is possible - there have been documented cases of this. But it is extremely rare. And of course they are "twins" only in the sense that they were born at the same time, i.e. fraternal - obviously two different eggs were fertilized.

I read about this and I immediately thought, "poor kids". They have to grow up with this and the voyeuristic attention they are going to receive can only be a bad thing. :o(

My thoughts? 1) Whore 2) Yes, it's possible 3) Birth control? Because if you're making such poor choices, chances of you being a good parent are slim. And, after reading the story at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30864533/ I found out the mother is 20, her boyfriend is 44, she has a 4 year old by a different man, and is now pregnant again. I vote she gets mandatorily sterilized on the basis of being an idiot.
