Why does social security allow individuals who file fraud charges against other people, not companies, to remain anonymous? how do they now it not just a discruntled spouse or nieghbor?

    It's disgruntled workers and spouses that are privy to that information, so it makes sense to me. Regardless of where the information came from, the SS Dept investigates all claims equally. If it's bogus, it gets kicked.
