Life goes on, smile. Get your alone time when you get home or go somewhere. I like to be out in nature, has a tremendous calming effect on me. Helps me put things in a better prespective most of the time.

I can pretty much get away with not speaking to co-workers for an entire day unless there is something they need help with. I've seen other say less than 5 words in a 12 hour shift. The rest of us just know to leave that person alone.

I wear headphones. I dont have the music on. People think I do and dont talk to me.

If I go to work and I am very quiet and not my usual happy self that is my warning to everyone to leave me alone, my colleagues will then avoid me like the plague.

Earplugs when I am somewhere if I am alone. Classical music in my car on my way to the place. It really calms me down and soothes me. If I'm at home- earplugs, lights off, door locked, lube up, touch myself. Then I feel much better.

Face reality and accept responsibility and act nice to people. We all have those days.

Really, you can't avoid it, but there is always time and a place to get away from it all----it is called "downtime". You have to actively look and make your own downtime in this modern, active world. That is the only way, but it's not impossible. (You're lucky you don't live in a place like Japan or Hong Kong, where NO ONE has ANY privacy at all, not even at home, where it's usually cramped and crowded. Lol.)

I've never felt that way. I guess that I'm too social to be away from people. People are my specialty.

Most importantly I would advise you to confront your issues of not wanting to be in the public eye, if rationalizing and pushing yourself doesn't work try amphetamines, they tend to help give you some enjoyment in social situations (confidence). I have the same problem, but that's because im a stoner. Your a human being get out there man, and enjoy some human interaction.. peace!

Are you just tired of people and think it will pass, do you honestly dislike social interaction or perhaps even have something of an anxious reaction towards them? It depends completely on exactly where you got this feeling from.

Pretty much just stay to myself. Responses are issued with brevity! People get the "point", usually, that I'm NOT in a sociable mood. . . .sometimes!
