He meant any religious teaching that was different from that being taught by Paul. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

The Gospel of Christ, which at that time wasn't even recorded, but was being carried across the world orally by men like Paul and Peter. Many of Paul's letters were written within the first few years after the crucifixion and resurrection and before the Gospels were written. They are actually some of the earliest accounts and least likely to be corrupted by bad memory, although the Gospel of John was recorded fairly early on too.
