Yup! Hundreds a day...Seriously, they can be pretty average too.

I used to work in a high volumed deli/prepared food/seafood department in a grocery store and had to cut meat and take orders and prepare sandwiches every day for the customers. It was fast paced and every day it was something new. Most of the customers were very nice and made the job more enjoyable. But there were also that choice few that seemed to be in a bad mood but those are the type you just do your job and go on with your day.

Not now - although all my previous jobs have. Now I just speak on the phone to contacts rather than customers. Customer facing jobs are the very worst kinds of jobs for me! I hate having to smile and be chatty when I don't feel like it.

When I worked I did work with the public. And that was ok with me cause I am a people person. I worked at Pamida, Video Store, Job Service, waitress, and cooks helper. Good question!! +5

Yep, I am a manager for a grocery chain. Not only do I deal with them all day in my aisles, but if someone is angry, I get called up front to get yelled at.
