Probably not. A large percentage of boys confuse lust with love. (Not that there's anything wrong with lust-driven... interactions.) And when someone's lust gets rejected, it tends to go out. Poor boy. He doesn't know what he's missing.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Lets follow the logic out. If it were applied in any other sistuation what would you think. Gal loves to train horses. She ask rancher to train horses. Rancher says she can train horses but he can't pay her. Girl says "no thanks" and goes surfing. Who would suspect she really loved to train horses as much as she say if she won't do it with money involved? If he loved "her" he would not care if there was any sex in it at all. Who and what she is would be enough hold his interest and respect.
