often, and occasionally I do...here on AB, I am politer...I say "over and out" ( which means: you are obtuse and discourteous, and I am not going on with this discussion)

Lately?... Quite often.

Very Often, but then I am an impatient person with quite a short fuse

Heh heh, they don't need to be told that.

Every arguement i engage in, i rarely argue points that i could be wrong about. When i know i'm right then such an action is valid.
-
Almost all the time. However I regard myself as polite, so a vainly continue to try and respect their opinion whilst screaming in my head 'you are talking such bollocks! SHUT UP!'
-
Secretly? I do that often when the person uses fallacious arguments and outrageous comparisons and actually believes that these are valid points. I normally hold out as long as I can and then just leave the argument. If a person isn't intellectually honest, then why bother?
-
If someone is constructing a well thought out and intelligent arguement then of course i will respect their opinion, even if i don't agree with them, because their arguement comes from a well measured source. On the other hand, I have called people a retard on several occasions on this site, because their arguement came from ignorance or bigotry, and was totally void of any intelligent thought. The time when i DO just give up is when everything you say is met with 'the bible says......'. It is impossible to argue with dogma, because even where it is wrong, there is another piece of dogma to say it's still right. And yes, conflicting dogma is compatible with itself.
