Why is a trebuchet more effictive compared to other medieval seige weapons

    Dirty D

    Due to it's range and ability to breach high walls. Coupled with anything on fire it created a very lethal piece of weaponry. It could also be used to launch large heavy rocks capable of knocking down walls and gates.
