Can a person be as gullible(dumb) as dog and as smart as a snake?please explain for a monk said this is who i am is a positive or a negative thing or is he insulting and complimenting as a technque in a debate?what does he mean?

i don't think he was insulting you at all. he was saying that you're very smart (as snakes are very intelligent, almost human in their learning capacity), but also easily influenced by others. (gullible doesn't mean stupid, it means you're easily duped or deceived-like when you pretend to throw a ball for a dog, but keep it in your hand and he goes running looking for it anyways). i think he might have been telling you you're very intelligent, but you need to believe in yourself more. +++
