My TV was connected through my DVD player. DVD player quit, so I rerouted TV through digital cable box. Now my TV is black and white. Help.

It does not take much to distort a TV signal slightly. You probably did not allow for the way adding new wires would affect termination capacitance of the TV cable. Cure would be to use a proper mixer for the 2 signals, evt a better cable box that can sense the signal strength on the individual inputs and adjust appropriately.

Easy one here. Get your TV remote and change its INPUT option. Modern TV's usually have a bunch of different inputs(cable, rca jacks, optical) Look at the back of your TV to determine what the name of your current connection is. Use your remotes "input button" to change the TV's input setting and you'll be good to go.
