Susan Boyle appeared on the Oprah show yesterday. Do you think it was necessary to add subtitles to Susan's conversation? Why not the other way around for Susan's sake?

I wish I had seen the show. I am a Susan Boyle fan; I think her voice is fantastic. I need no subtitles - is that a joke or did they really display subtitles? That's a little insulting, in my opinion.

You don't know what the monitor she was looking at had on it. Maybe there were subtitles on her end which you couldn't see.

Hahahaha, did they seriously? I suppose I should be offended. That's quite funny, though. Susan talks quite clearly compared to some accents, to be honest. I remember watching GMTV once, British program, on British TV, they subtitled this Scottish guy who was perfectly understandable. But I would say that.
