I am not sure what you mean by "your girl". Daughter? Sign her up for therapy. Significant other? urge her to get help for herself, but don't push it.

Worry about her health first and her feelings second. Let her know that you are going to be by her side no matter what and that you want her to be healthy and live a long life.

Magazines and websites etc have interviews with people who have suffered from Bulimia. This can be helpful to hear their stories and understand the reasons why. I had Bulimia myself in year 11. I wanted to feel that I had control of something. It was the illusion of control - I thought I was the one conrolling it, but IT was controlling ME. For me it was also the thrill of having a secret - no one knew I was Bulimic (family, friends etc) However, the acid from my stomach ended up eroding my teeth. Dentist bills became VERY expensive.
