  • You can't. We are sinful people and that's just the way it is. The point is not for us to BE perfect because that is impossible, but to strive for perfection. We're going to slip up and make mistakes, that's why we need/ask for forgiveness. I think what matters is that we are actively trying and doing our best!
  • The Bible says to live blameless lives. That means we are to try to live as good as we can so that when somebody accuses you of doing wrong no one will believe them. We aren't holy, but if you have accepted Jesus as your savior you are considered holy in God's eyes.
  • Even when God saves you, your still a sinner.1John 1:8 if we say we have no sin,we decieve ourselves, and the truth is not in us.We are made righteous through Jesus, and not of ourselves.Any good we do it is Jesus doing it through us.Paul said there are none righteous no not one, there are none good,no not one.Bottomline we will sin,but we will not practice any sin, like being a drunk,or fornication,or adultery. We will not be defined by our sin. When you sin,you have to ask forgiveness and keep marching on for Christ.Jesus must be first in your life.Paul Washer said how to know you have true repentance is that you continue to repent. You just have to keep fighting.Keep looking to the Lord and not the world.
  • since we are all conceived in sin, there is no way around this one. however, God accepts those that are willing to submit to his will and purposes. he has provided his word to be referred to when a question arises as to how we need to conduct ourselves. as long as we adhere to his counsel we can be confident that we will succeed in life.
