Why does it seem everyone answers the questions I could care less about but doesn't answer those that I would like to be answered?

Because this is a mere social environment. People don't use it for the right reasons.

I ask myself this all the time. I have questions that have still not been answered and over a month old.

Because this site is primary populated with vacuous, empty headed, boneheaded, uneducated, poorly-raised, self-obsessed people plus bullies, dungheads, people who live on the surface of life and good time charlies who have zero interest in the really interesting questions in life and prefer to talk about mindless inane and pointless questions and "subjects".

Because that would require people to actually engage their brains. I asked for help awhile back and only got insults to my car's manufacturer. Totally useless bilge.

Everyone? I seriously doubt that. Most questions seem to have fewer than 15 or so answers. There are THOUSANDS of users of AB, and maybe hundreds of those being active. 15 out of hundreds is a pretty small percentage. People answer what they can or wish to. Many conversational (apparently, those you could care less about) question are easily answered by EVERYONE... They ask for opinions, thoughts, or feelings. Educational questions, if they are not of interest to someone, will be skipped by them. That is not to say they will not be answered, sooner or later, but in many cases, not every can or wants to know the answer. Be patient. Somewhere, sometime, SOMEone will answer it with more than "I don't know". ;-)
