  • Well, if you failed to appear back in 2004, why do you believe that citation, now a traffic warrant, should be dismissed? failure to appear is prima facia evidence that you were guilty of the traffic charge. If you had gone to court, back in 2004, maybe you would have had the vehicle, to present in court, as a defense in your behalf. Honestly, do you really believe your warrant should be dismissed? After all, you are the one that failed to appear in traffic court.
  • You might be able to prove information on the ticket was incorrect as the court will have a copy of it. However, you won't be able to prove your lights were, in fact, operable and nothing will excuse the fact you failed to appear on the ticket on the original hearing date. Failure to take care of this in a timely manner is liekly going to cost you some money.
