Is it just me or are some Anglicans obsessed about sex and homosexuality? could it be a sign of their own repression?

I guess these so-called Right-Wing Conservative Republicans hate sex and all things pleasurable so much, they want to control the rest of us and prevent us from enjoying ourselves. And you know what's funny? They also hate masturbation, since anything that gives us pleasure that is not within the confines of marriage is wrong, but there is no mention of the word or its definition anywhere in that list. Hmmm! Perhaps they are masturbating in secret, and they failed to mention it in that list to avoid being "caught"?

Just some? It seems like most organized religion is way too obsessed with sex and homosexuality. And yes, in a lot of cases, I think there are issues of repression of some sort.
