  • Not to be flip, but girls are just geared differently than guys are in relationships of the same sex...they can be best buddies or they can be competitive with each other..it all depends on maturity levels and other factors.
  • Girls have a jealousy factor while guys have a competition factor. Competition is healthy.
  • Because girls thrive on drama and their bodies' hormones are on a constant roller-coaster ride. They hate for a while, then love each other for the hormones, and thrive off the attention the drama brings. (Not all girls are like this, i'm generalizing and only talking about some girls).
  • women have much more intimate, emotional friendships with their friends than guys have with theirs. guys, how many times have you hugged or kissed your best friends? or seen your best friend in his underwear? or cried in front of him? or let him fix your hair when you're out in public, or rub your sore back, or stayed up all night talking to him? i regularly give my girlfriends manicures with a hand massage because it feels so good. women are much more open, intimate and vulnerable in their relationships and if a female friendship turns, it burns!
  • I have had many, many girl and later, women friends. No matter how much we fought, we always made up. With men, on the other hand....
  • I'm a woman, an old one, which means I was once a girl. And all I can say is that I've always wondered about that myself. That was the reason I never had many friends who were girls. They just turn on you like a viper! I was always happier with having just my boyfriend, later my husband, and hanging out with him and his friends. Girls were always nothing but trouble. I wonder why too? Let me know if you figure it out.
