Why do people instantly think people are gay for listening to a gay artist? eg Queen's Freddy Mercury (Queen are awesome).

I don't know. Good music is good music. The only thing I can think of is they're a big disgrace, got blood on their face, and somebody better put them back in their place. I like a few of their songs but not all of them. Listening to a band who has a gay member shouldn't turn a straight person gay. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation. It's music plain and simple.

Never heard of it, though I wouldn't doubt some people think this. Having grown up listening to Queen (DRAT! Just dated myself again...), I'd have to say that how ANYBODY could NOT know Freddy Mercury was gay after watching a Queen performance is totally beyond me. Regardless, their music is both awesome and iconic.
