  • in cyberspace? I don't know. or maybe just as simple as all of the phonelines in the world. ???
  • It is millions of servers (that used to look like your tower, but now are MUCH BIGGER) and we from home (with an internet connection) are allowed to TAP into those servers, to be directed to another server by those servers to get to websites people create and UPLOAD to those servers with information on them.
  • It's every computer, that can access the 13 original main backbone root name servers and the additional ones brought online since 2002. Most of the originals are located in North America and the additional ones (now totaling 34) are located in secure facilities throughout the world.
  • The biggest servers are placed in states with the cheapest electric power.
  • It does not have a set location. Most web sites are hosted on seperate 'servers' (a computer that serves data such as files, internet pages, etc to client computers through a network connection (such as the internet)). However if you look up server room on google images, you should be able to see the types of rack servers that high usage web sites are stored on. I suppose more than a million of these rooms, and 10's of millions of servers must exist.
