Nothing. That program has helped those women get direction in their life and become productive members of society upon their release. Correct me if I am wrong but we are supposed to be rehabilitating these people, aren't we? I see it as a good investment. Would it be better for them to be released with no job skills, a felony record, more criminal knowledge and a bunch of hostility? If that happened, chances are they would go back to their criminal ways worse than before and we would have to pay hundreds of thousands in tax payer dollars to arrest, prosecute, and house them again. So it depends on how you look at it.

Well, of course it is totaly silly, but perhaps they are doing this to give these women opportunities they would not be able to do otherwise... but yes its stupid, it gives women the idea to commit a crime so they will be commetted and then they can get free tuition.
