How careful are you with the words you choose to use? Do you just toss them out at random or do you know the full meaning of each word and use it knowledgeably, purposefully, meaningfully and not just promiscuously?

I feel I have a pretty good command of my vocabulary and how to use it. I like what I say to make sense and be correct. One slip-up and you are misunderstood.

i often won't think before using certain words...words that are either hyperbole or very negative in speech. but having them brought to your attention sure helps you to talk more consciously :)! im more conscious when typing though...wish all my speech could be spoken like i type!

I won't use any word that I don't know the true meaning of. I had a friend that used to do that, and when I would ask her what that word meant, she did not know or she would make something up! I think she wanted to appear smarter than she really was!

I know the meaning of each word. I don't know if I weigh each word as seriously as you are implying, but I know what I'm saying.
