  • Interesting concept, but how can any of us really know, one way or the other? That goes for any religious concept/theory, really.
  • I disagree because I don't think 'God' exists.
  • The problem is you are missing God's purpose for our lives. If all you are thinking about is having a happy life where you catch every light on the green cycle, it might look that way. He isn't interfering to make sure that everything is just the way you want it and you never have a blue day. But if you remember that God's purpose is to get you to accept His salvation and to, with your active cooperation, purify you so that you won't bring sin into heaven, then you can see His hand actively guiding you in that direction all through your life. Once you get there, then you get to have the happy days. But you can't get in if all you are going to do is bring in sin and make everyone else there as miserable as they were here.
  • Hard to prove. Most people labeled as Deists would agree. My hunch is that God is both immanent and transcendant. Can't prove that, either. But Pascal's Wager makes sense to me.
  • Actually , respectfully, i disagree. God is not something aside and apart from life. God is the very lifeforce of every living lifeform. We see something and it has a form and substance, and we see it as Physical matter. Within everything is energy, that makes up the matter this energy goes from physical gross level to higher levels of pure undifferentiated primordial Energy. Energy that cannot be created or destroyed but that has always been there. This pure primordial energy is God. But this energy is at every level only it changes at every level... BUT it is all the Energy of our life force, all the energy of God. So God is aware of everything for sure, but God is a living vital part of your every thought and your every breath. That being said we have Free Will and are the captain of our ship, meaning we can make any choice we want and sail into any kind of a situation. At that point God is aware without interfering, because it is our choice. At that point i am agreeing with you.
  • God is not indifferent to Man. God created us to have a relationship with Him. Everything He has done, does and is doing is out of Love for Mankind. The Creator of all that is seen and unseen He wants us to love Him back. It is that simple. When He created Man He breathed life into his nostrils and thus man became a living being. This is what seperates Man from animals, we are living souls because He breathed life into us. He would not have sent Jesus (God Incarnate) to make Him known as the Father if he didnt care. He is very much concerned for us on a personal level but He will not force a relationship on us without our desire therefore He is limited by our willingness to acknowledge Him and His LOVE.
  • disagree, God is dominant
