    Yes, they are just as easy to adapt to using a litter box as a young kitten, in fact, I'd say they are easier since they already know how to control their bladders more :-) Train the same way, small room, enclosed area, nice litter box, might try placing some cat poo in the box to start them off. If the rest of the enclosure has no other soft surface (rugs, cushions) they should go in the litter.

    Teaching cats to use the toilet is a bad idea. If you have to travel and board them, it will be a problem. If they ever have to be hospitalized, it will be a problem. Cats don't belong on toilets... they belong in a sandbox.
