  • No, I would not support a war to preserve the Union, even though Lincoln is my favorite president. I appears to me that the constitution allows any state to secede. If it wasn't for the slavery issue, I believe the South might have been allowed to leave.

  • Oh hell no. The Constitution may allow other states to secede, but every other state has to vote on it too. If they wanna go, I say let them. We'll see how long they last, when Mexico decides they want their old territory back.
  • They haven't seceded. They're just talking about it. I think they're bluffing. But I've never been good at poker. I don't see how they really can att is point. It would cut off all federal funding. There isn't a single southern state able to support themselves if that happens.
