Bad brake light switch

Check the earths from the bulb clusters, they often get a little rusty which makes the lights go either dim or operate wrong.

You need to check for power at your brake light switch that is usually located above the brake peddle. A test light will determine if you have power there. If there is power at the switch then you need to check the ground connections at the tail lights. Usually if all the lights stopped at the same time and its not the fuse it can be a connection issue or a switch.
