    Yeah, ive always wondered this too... Well i have seen all 3 films, and as far as my imagination goes, it is under ground in a large pool of water. Above the pool of water is a military base/aircraft shelter type building. It is in the middle of nowhere OR in a very popular place, but one of those old abandoned buildings that no one ever notices.
