  • This annoys me too. I too usually get stuck at around the 35-40 mark. I refuse to rote-learn them though. I can, however, easily name the 25 countries in the EU.
  • I tried this about a month ago when somebody asked the question "when you try to name all the US states, which state do you always forget?" (or something like that... so I sat down and did it, and I actually did get 49 and forgot one, which was Massachussetts. I would like to think that it wasn't a fluke and I could do it again, but maybe my brain was on high power that day... I am sure I could get 45 no problem at least.
  • I'm gonna try; Arkansas, Alabama, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Maine, Mississippi, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Connecticut, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, New York, Virginia, West Virgina, Alaska, Hawaii, Kansas, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Utah, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona I got 44. I just looked up all 50 and was really mad at myself for the other 6 I forgot.
  • california vermont indiana north carolina south carolina washington washington state virginia texas florida georgia tenn idaho new york arizona north dakota south dakota penn maine ill louisiana ohio new mexico kentucky mass oregon kansas colorado wisconsin wyoming nevada montana rhode island west virginia michigan maryland mississippi I could only think up 37 =X edits oops 37 not 38~!
  • Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas California Connecticut Delaware Florida Georgia Hawaii Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Lousiana Maine Massachussets Michigan Mississippi Missouri Nebraska Nevada New Jersey New Mexico New York North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Oregon Rhode Island South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Vermont Virginia West Virginia Washington Wyoming... and I give up, at 41. That's as many as I can ever get. <sounds of tearing out hair>
  • I can get them all. In school I learned a song about the 50 states that rhyme. I'm not going to name them all right now, though.
  • I can name all of them, and even their capitols, too. I had a lot of spare time as a child....
  • Used to be all of them, we learned a song for it, but I've forgotten lots of them. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, (something), Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, (then I forget the rest but I know it ends with Wyoming) xD
  • I know them all in alphabetical order. I'm too lazy and impatient to type them all though, so just believe me!
  • All of them but only in alphabetical order..little song we learned when I was a youngin..many many years ago..lol :)
  • Off the top of my head: - Alabama - Alaska - Oklahoma - California - Ohio - Maryland - Nebraska - Massachusetts - Maine - New York - New Jersey - Arizona - Utah - Washington - Oregon - Florida - Mississippi - Texas - New Mexico - Rhode Island - Hawaii - Connecticut - Pennsylvania - Virginia - Missouri - Montana - Wyoming - Nevada - New Hampshire - Wisconsin - Colorado - North Dakota - South Dakota - Delaware - Georgia - Indiana - Kentucky - Louisiana And I know another two states share the same name, apart from the ''north'' and ''south'' prefix. It's driving me nuts, so I'm submitting my answer so I can relieve myself and look at a map.
  • I give my word that this is from memory...and in alphabetical order! Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Connecticut Delaware Florida Georgia Hawaii Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Main Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Montana Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire New Jersey New Mexico New York North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Vermont Virginia Washington West Virginia Wisconsin Wyoming
