I've been in the navy all my bloomin life. My mothers a mermaid my father the king of neptune. Every bone in my body is a spar and when i spits i spits tar. I's hard, I is I are.

I spent four years in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Signalman from age 20 -24, serving primarily aboard DDH's (Destroyer Designate Helicopter), in particular HMCS Saguenay, hull #206 with Maritime Command (East Coast). I wanted to remuster as a ship's diver and would have spent another 4 years, but at the time, there was more need of Signalmen so was not allowed to change trade. I took my honorable discharge at contract end.

Between my single Active Duty military time, my married, dual military time, and my Navy wife time, all told, I've been part of the Navy family in one way or another for 18 yrs now. LOL - love the all me bloomin life answers - I remember helping my husband have to learn those ;-)
