Prostitution is bad. Many young kids are being kidnapped to satisfy sick needs. People stop going to them and learn to satisfy yourself and help the poor and the sick with the money you would spend on a prostitute! And do you bring your teenage sons?

You are right that it is bad and that kids have been exploited. Those that harm these children need to be punished harshly.

I would never bring my son nor would I encourage it. At the same time I believe it will be around forever, it has since the beginning of civilization. Your idea of helping the sick and poor is commendable. That should be done by all who do or do not use a prostitute.

Prostitution would probably be almost non-existent if effective poor relief could be realized.

Research shows that the more 'available' sexual material, the less people will resort to rape and child sex crimes. If brothels and prostitution is too hard/under the carpet/secret/stigmatised people who need to have sex and cannot get it easily will be the ones who hurt, rape and abduct children. Education is the key to reducing the trauma relating to sex crimes. If people who need it, could regularly get sex, from a mutually agreeing partner, or from a prostitute, they will be less likely to rape. Reducing the stigma, and legalising prostitution is the way forward to reduce sexual assault and trauma.
