Of the variety of 'silence' in your life, which do you enjoy the most?

When the coyotes end their howling and I loose track of where they are,,,3 packs can make a lot of noise,,then the eerie silence follows,,for a few minutes anyway.

4am on a summer morning, no birds awake yet, no sound, other then the sound of earth sleeping. So much different then the sound of 4am in the winter which is too quiet.

I think my own favourite silence comes after the last friend has left our home, as I look around at the evidence of an evening well spent---dishes still slightly scattered about the table & countertop, a game yet opened with score-sheet in view---with other family members now having dispersed throughout our home, I plop happily onto the couch & 'wallow delightfully' in the leftover ambiance of now silent snatches of laughter & relaxing conversation... ahhh...
