The website itself should give instructions as to how foreigners may make purchases. Genereally, if an American credit card is used for a purchase, the original charge amount is in Australian dollars, but when you get the bill for the charge on your credit card, you will find that the amount charged (and for which you owe payment) has been converted into US dollars at the time of the purchase. At the rate of exchange for April 25, 2009, 1.00 AUD = 0.722307 USD.
