I have used a mic MANY times to deliver sermons and speeches , and lectures .... I've also used a mic to sing solos at various church functions ...

I had to give a talk at a high school recently about refugees, used one for that.. and.. other than that just when I subjected my friends to karaoke!

Many times. I used to sing lead in metal and rock bands, as well as in churches, and even at my brother's wedding.

Many times. I was in a radio and tv production class, I've been interviewed a few times, I sang karoke before, and I have a microphone on my computer that I talk into, if that counts.
