I have two kids, they used to wake up 8 times a night when they were young, my wife and I were knackered all the time! The best bits of advice for a good nights sleep I can think of are, eliminate all the obvious things, don't drink caffeine in the late afternoon/evening (EG Coffee, tea, cocoa, energy drinks) or alcohol, try to go to bed at a regular time every night, and get yourself checked for sleep apnea. If you visit a doctor, they may well suggest an antihistamine if you have already tried things like Kalms or Nytol. Otherwise, take up some exercise or try meditation! If you keep hitting the snooze button, try moving your alarm clock across the room, so you have to get up to switch the alarm off, that's what I do!!
