It is a well known fact that tension in your neck causes headaches. It spreads out over the muscles on the top of your head. The pain feels almost like it is coming from the inside of your head. I heard these from my alternative kinesiology doctor, but I think everyone says that. If you even strained your neck I am sure that your muscles are pretty tight. And that causes headaches.

Yes, First things first, A cervical strain is coming from your cervical vertebrae, which holds your head up. which is attached to your brain. which is attached to the synapses which produce pain. which gives you a headache., bad lighting, wrong foods, screaming children could also give you a headache., but it is usually a strained neck. Solution?> There is usually a small lump - on the C4, back of your neck, the easiest thing to do, is apply lavender - make sure you are not pregnant as lavender during this time is contraindicted meaning not helpful and could cause problems. anyways, apply two tespoons lavender to 25ml olive oil. to the back of the neck, also at 5 minutes intervals remove the aromatherapy oils and try a nice hydrotherapy treatment such as warm water to the back of your neck, then back with the oils, then a cold compress, then the oils, then a hot compress, in no time at all the pain will be nearly gone then massage the area - lightly - using preferrably someone else will help you do this, so use their fingertips on the base of your neck in small circles. and the pain should be gone. you can suffer headaches. but if the treatment above is not performed - you could suffer worse.
