  • Yeah sure, ghosts are fo real.
  • TAPS started out as paranormal investigators. I suspect they must have had a good reputation, to be chosen for the show. However, it is a show, they do rely on ratings, and it wouldn't be hard to believe they embellish some things that happen on the show. I enjoy watching the show, but unless we are there seeing things with our own eyes, it is hard to believe they are true. The show didn't change or confirm any beliefs I already had, it is just entertainment.
  • I love that show....I think it's real. There is too many times they don't find anything for it to be staged. I always believed in the possibility, so it just solidified for me.
  • Ghosts are for real. I believe whole heartedly. You know that! :)
  • I believe Ghost Hunters is for real. I already believed in ghosts to begin with but Ghost Hunters solidified it for me. I never miss an episode.
  • I don't think it is entirely real... Alot of those ghost shows are staged by the networks to scare the shit out of everybody. However ghost hunting & spirit contact can be legit practice IF you can find a legit haunted site. I beleive in spirits but not neccessarily that human souls come back or come out of the grave... My personal beleif is we are held into our graves till Gods judgment... But that is just one theroy out of many...
  • i believe they are real. when i was little i ran into a ghost. i was sleeping with my brother in our new addition to the house. i left to use the bathroom and when i came back there was a boy in the door way who looked like my brother. but then he just vanished. so that made me believe in ghosts. and ghost hunters just shows to prove that some place are haunted
  • I love Ghost Hunters, and I think it's absolutely 100% real. I mean, if it were staged then they would experience paranormal activity on every show. They don't. The majority of the shows are total snoozefests where nothing ever happens! Why would they stage that?
  • I love love love that show! I love how they don't walk around with someone who says "there is a man in the corner, he says hello and would like to invite you in for dinner" (I saw one ghost show like that) They are cool guys and they just rock. I don't know what I believe but they have seen stuff like the thing I saw once in a graveyard so it did solidify it.
  • I gringe when I watch this show because of how dumb a lot of looks and I start to think how amazing it is that this world is full of simple minded people that love to eat this up. Not saying everything is staged, if it's not i'm sure there is explaination for it, but if they didn't stage any of it would get no ratings. They need to scare the crap out of the ppl watching to get ratings to go up. What it comes down to is money, it's business. Similar to Ouija Boards, Ghosts in Salem Massachusetts, Loch ness monster, psychic readings, astrology and horoscopes readings, the Roswell UFO incident in New Mexico, etc.... Today it brings tourism, tv ratings, products, aiside from the wierd hobbyists who spend their life looking for big foot or ghosts, it's all about the $$$.
  • Just by watching Ghosthunters by itself does not nessarily make me a believer. I know a family member who just doesn't believe in ghosts and she won't be watching my Ghosthunter DVDs anytime soon. I enjoy watching the show, I like it more when TAPS uncovers evidence of paranormal activity, it's very interesting and entertaining to watch. Is show real or is the show staged, fake is a matter of personal belief, either you are a believer in the paranormal or not, just by watching a tv show I believe isn't enough by itself to convert me into a believer in spooks 100%. I have had personal experiences with the paranormal and I believe in the afterlife 100%. My personal experiences make me more inclined to believe Ghosthunters is a real show and TAPS is a legitimate organisation. I have read TAPS has a waiting list of cases to be investigated and their show is as popular as Oprah Winfrey. Their also been investigating spooks for 10 years now so there must be an element of truth behind their work
  • If they were going out of there way to prove EVERYTHING was haunted, I'd be skeptical. . BUT there are a lot more proven NON hauntings than actual hauntings. I became a firm believe in the episode with the light house in the first season when the chair moved . . well I believed before then.. but that helped a lot.
  • I watch it as well as GHI. I do believe that some things are staged though. If you were to go back and see some of the previous questions and answers regarding GH you will see. On UTube there are some really damaging replays of certain GH incidents. Most specifically, the live show when the "spirit" grabbed Jason's jacket a few times. Then later, there is video clip of Grant patting him on the back and his jacket making the same move. (Sorry if I reversed the names do that all the time). Also there is a clip of Steve (who I like) and some other about to start a "scene" and they have to literally redo it. Again at the live show, the two guys are sitting in the kitchen when a perfect stranger (to the viewers) walks on the set! If you like, I'm sure I can find the addresses for these videos. However, even after all of this, I enjoy the show and GHI just to watch. Just watched last night shows.
  • for any one who thinks the show is staged, remember this: jason and grant are plumbers for roto rooter, steve's a cop, and tango...does whatever he does...no clue. they don't need the show for money and the TAPS organization is non-profit. all they ask for is donations to provide for rent for their office, gas, and spare money to do upgrades and repairs on their equiptment.now the producers may or may not be on the up-and-up and do depend on the ratings, but the team doesn't need to falsify evidence for money. they also spend most of their time during cases debunking various claims. personally, i do believe in ghost hunters
  • I think they are not real. It is all staged, toa certain extent, like most of "reality tv" shows!
