Help answer this question below.

I have a Sylvania DVC865F DVD/VCR combo - The VCR works fine, however the DVD player I can get the audio but get no picture. Does this on discs that previously worked and played fine and have tried a cleaner but made no change.

when I plugin my rca home theater sys the standby light comes on. when i push any button on the unit it turns off.the remote doesnt work too
