Yes I tried as a teenager. It's not that easy but not that hard. 2 things, trial and error and during this trial and error not blowing yourself up or losing your digits or limbs.

i made nitrogen triiodide mines with friends. :) its not dangerous if your wearing shoes... we did it in the university halls, just for laughs. watching people get scared is fun... :) -knowlage was equired in chem. eng. class!

Sort of. We were trying to light a bonfire but no one remembered to bring any kerosene. One of my friends had their jug with them though and we decided that it would start fine if we just put a match to the nozzle and let it shoot out. I lost all the hair on my arm that day, but thankfully it wasn't that bad. We could have blown ourselves sky high...

but of kors. here in iraq we make ied everyday so we can kill amerikans and make allah happy with our jihad... lol Just kiddin' here. No, I have never made an IED. There were times were I was about to purchase materials for a pipe bomb. Heck, I had the instructions printed out from numerous sources, but I somehow told myself to forget about it because I knew that there was a risk of getting blown up, and I can wait with my risk taking around explosives till I get into the Marines. Till that time, I'm gonna let the "professionals" entertain me on youtube while I keep away from black powder lol

+6. Yes each thanksgiving I load my self with turkey and potatoes and all kinds of treats and then about an hour after dinner I go to the bathroom and explode.
