What can I do to reduce the appearance of small spider veins on my nose?

I have just read, and will immediately try, apple cider vinegar straight from the bottle poured onto a cotton wool pad and applied to the vein area. No info on how long you leave it there but I will tape it there for half hour while I watch television. Do it every day until you see improvement.
