Yes, I know Eric Fischl, and I have even written several essays about him and conducted an interview with him about his drawings. His art is controversial, but during the last years he has developed his painting and drawing style into an interesting personal language. I also like his sculptures. I once showed him around an exhibition of Japanese art from the Muromachi period that I organized, and we had a great discussion about No masks, which were shown there.
