When is the next world championship in hockey? I found out it's going to be in Russia, but not sure when it's starting.

According to the website, the first game will be the USA vs Austria is Mytishi in Russia on 27 April 2007. The gold and bronze medal playoff games will be on 13 May in Moscow

Thanx, it's still a long ways,what I hate about it is, that it overlaps with NHL, meaning some players don't play for their contries, cause of NHL, and some players leave their teams to play in the world championship, I live in tampa and am from slovakia, and this year there are no Slovakians playing for the lighting, at least that's good. But every slovakian hockey player is in the NHL, the best paying NHL player is Slovakian(Chara), so the Slovakian team might be missing some players.
