  • Sometimes I hear people speaking when I have a big fan running. I think it's the same thing when the TV is on static; the mind refuses to accept the noise as being unintelligible an assigns persona to it.
  • maybe you have schizophrenia? or maybe its ghosts? these are just some of the ideas the voices in my head put forward...
  • Yeah ive heard it going on for a while, probly for about 2 year's, it's time i took a mental evalution test lolz.
  • You tv is picking up pieces of another transmisson, Be it another tv station, Cell, or cordless phone. Either that or your tv is haunted,

  • Partly because the brain is very good at picking out patterns even when they aren't there. Also whilst your TV may not be tuned to any particular channel it may be picking up odds and ends of channels and other interference in which real voices are detectable. My old bass guitar amp was poorly shielded and as a result used to occasionally pick up a mix of radio stations. Or maybe it is ghosts. Although I seriously doubt it and find the first two explanations far more plausible ;)
  • Check to see whether your home may have been built on an old cemetary. Then, watch the film named "Poltergeist". Call ReMax...but don't mention anything about the "voices"! BTW, I have a nice home available in NC if you're interested. :-) +5
  • Televisions essentially have FM receivers in them for the audio portion of the television channel (the FM audio carrier is 4.5MHz above the video carrier). So you may be picking up some public service system, like police or fire. Could also be some private business radio (taxi, etc.).
  • Well that would be that your tv is receiving a tiny signal from the satilite/station tower... It is easier to recieve sound then video/pictures on (waves) in the air. TO get the video and sound(clearer) i sugest getting a new/bigger antenna.
