My slim ps2 shocked me when i tried to turn it off, now it won't turn on, it just stays in standby mode. how can i fix this?

  Is it possible that my Ps2 is messed up b/c i plugged it into a 220 watt outlet (europe) with only and adapter and not a converter, and if so is there anyway to fix it?

  My PS2 was not playing my discs, and I read online that it was likely related to a dirty laser, so I cleaned it via Shayfee's advice in this question: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/3498 and now my ps2 will not turn on AT ALL. Suggestions?

  My cousin dropped my PS2 Slim and now the power button stays red. The green light will not turn on easily. If I push the button hard and long enough it sometimes turns green. Any quick solutions?
