I was at a SciFi convention about 10 or 12 years ago. Got wasted at the hospitality room, and tried to get myself and mike bike home about 3AM. I tried to go overland to get around using the freeway to get south the Or. / Wa. border near I5, the hotel was on an Island and I ended up in some kinda wrecking yard or something and some night guard comes up and tells me I'm trespassing and get the hell out. I told him That I would love to, If he would just show me to the gate, 'cause I didn't know where the hell I was or quite how I came to be there but I did remember going over a fence with my bike, but by that time had NO Idea where that part of the yard was any more. And I think that at that point I was still soaking up the last 2 or 3 shots from before I left the hotel, cause I don't know how I got out of there, and my next memory is waking up the next morning at home. About 8 or 10 miles away. My feet hurt but both me and the bike seemed to be OK. other than the expected hangover, OK!
