Question

Help answer this question below.

Is there a best way to persuade parents to let my gf, both of us 16, stay for the night? We don't want to stay overnight with one another just to sleep with eachother, but parents won't believe us. Any ideas?

  • Unless your parents are all complete fools, it won't happen. We parents were all 16 once too.

They aren't going to go for it. Trust me. I'm not in a relationship for sex, but my dad still thinks I am, and it's just the way parents are. Sorry :(

Hahaha. Common problem, hard to answer.
She can stay the night... But in a separate room.
Put something on the line. Something that you pride.
    Show them you are serious.
Obviously, they are not going to give a shit at first. But if you can get them to trust you, it will turn out better.
For me, when I want my gf to come over, I put my foot down, I completely drop my jokey self. And I put my freedom on the line. If I break my promise, they can have it. You know. To show them that I'm clear-headed enough to not mess shit up.

I don't know. My parents and the parents of my boyfriends have always allowed it. I would say that if it is something that they may be likely to at least consider, then the only way would be to find a way to show that you are both responsible and trust-worthy. Begging won't help!

Some parents will just never allow it! If yours are adamently against it right now, then I can't imagine them changing their minds any time soon I'm afraid!
