How can I change the category of a question after I have already posted it? I typed in a keyword and it posted my question in a category without me choosing.

You have the first 30 seconds or so to hit the edit button with in the question to change it. I believe it's locked down if someone posts an answer. Other than that you will have to depend on someone else flagging your question and placing it in the right category.

You have five minutes to edit your question after you post it, including changing the category. You don't lose points for putting it in the wrong category. If it's really bothering you, you can let another user know and they can flag it as Wrong Category and move it.
