No, because when I had my children, husbands or s/o's were not allowed in the delivery room.

Yep. Good thing too, since she was carrying them. (I was there also to chew through the cord!)

My ex wife was at the births of both our children! It was neat to see that she turned up.. The doctor turned to me a few moments after the births and he said "How does it feel to be the father of two lovely baby girls?" I said "How the heck do I know, the fathers outside waiting for me to go home? Do you want me to call him in here?" That was the first time I have ever seen a doctor lost for words...

No, unfortunately I was sick and had to be fully sedated and have a c-section so he wasn't allowed in.

Wasnt allowed at the first ~ caesarian under General Anaesthetic. Second child ~ yes - he stood with his back against the wall on the other side of the room. My Mother was there too .. right alongside him lol
