What 'course of action' should I take when a company advertises on my question?

FLAG THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! KEEP ANSWERBAG CLEAN!

You can flag the answers as SPAM/OFFENSIVE, and/or check the profile of the one who answered. If they've hit many other questions with pretty much the same thing, report the user as a Spammer. (NOTE: They're currently working on fixing it so all people who flagged answers and questions of a spammer will get points - Right now, you don't. However, if you don't report them, they will continue hitting others' questions.) I use the Blog or contact a CL (See http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2m_faq_ab_policing.shtml#cl ). These are the fastest. Many people simply go to the profile and use FEEDBACK (bottom of the page) to report spammers. This may take a day or so.
